#JuneBBC Day 7 || Favorite Lip Product(s)

My name is Heather and I am a lip product junkie. I have way more lipstick, lip gloss, stains, balms, etc. than I will ever need. And yet, there is always room for more! That is why picking just one favorite lip product was an impossible task for me. I did, however manage to narrow it down to four, which I consider to be pretty darn impressive.

Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

I know, I know these have been talked about to death. If you have been part of the online beauty community for more than a minute you have heard of these and you probably even own a few. However, just in case you are one of the last remaining beauty aficionados who haven’t tried these out, this is a sneak peak into what you are missing!

First off, the shade range on these bad boys is awesome. I own five and there are still some I am itching to buy! According to Revlon’s website, there are currently 12 different shades ranging from light neutrals to intensely pigmented reds. The staying power on these babies are pretty great. Of course, the darker the shade, the longer it is going to last on your lips. As you can see by the title, these are a Balm Stain. This means that is has the staying power of a stain but goes on like a balm. No more flaky lips that you can get with some stains! As an added bonus, these smell yummy! Sort of peppermint oil-y, not sweet and not overpowering. If you don’t like the smell of peppermint, the scent of these fades a few minutes after you put it on your lips.

An important thing to keep in mind is that lip products ALWAYS look different when swatched on the lips as opposed to the hand or arm. The pigmentation of you lips can subtly change how the product looks.

Sweetheart Valentine

This is a true hot pink. You can either layer it on for a bright lip look, or do a light coat for a subtle pop of color.

This shade is really similar to Sweetheart Valentine. This one has slightly bluer undertones and is a tad darker.

For me, this is the perfect “my lips but better” shade. It’s a smidge darker than my natural lip color and is perfect for everyday wear.

Of all the Kissable Balm Stains that I own, this is my least favorite. It comes off as a peachy nude color that would be a good pairing with a smoky eye. If you like nude lips, this shade is for you!

Ok guys, I’ve saved the best for last. This shade is gorgeous. It is the perfect orange-y coral that goes so well with a coral cheek. If you have been afraid to join the coral lips and cheek trend, well, let this be your gateway drug. I fell in love with this shade, and I reach for it all spring and summer!
