Recently, I received my first VoxBox from Influenster. If you haven’t heard of Influenster, it is a free -to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products. Basically, you review products through various social media platforms in order to boost your score. You choose various areas that you can get badges and increase your Influenster score in. Influensters with higher scores are more likely to be chosen to participate in what they call VoxBoxes. A VoxBox is a box full of goodies that you receive (for free!) in return for potentially reviewing some or all of the items in them.
You can read more about Influenster and sign up for an invitation to the program here.
The contents of my box are:
belVita crunch Breakfast Biscuits in Blueberry
Dr. Scholl’s For Her Cozy Cushions
Kiss Gradation Polishes in Silver/Black
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara in Black
Vitabath Hydrating Lotion in Luscious Lemon Creme
Lindt LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles in Milk Chocolate
So far I have enjoyed (read: eaten) the belVita biscuits and the Lindt truffle. Both are things that I eat regularly, so it was fun to receive them in a box like this for free.
I’ve also used the Kiss nail polish set and you can look for a post on that next Monday. I’ll also try to do a quick post on the Rimmel mascara which I am reallyyyy excited to try out!
Are you an Influester? If so, have you received any VoxBoxes and what did you get? If not, is it something that you think you may be interested in? I’d like to know your thoughts on the concept of reviewing products in a social media setting.
Til next time,
Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
